Why read the news when you can play it?

In a world where fake news and conspiracy theories flourish, how do we educate a younger audience on the difference between fact and fiction? And how do we get them interested in reading past a headline? We decided to create a New York Times app that can quiz its listeners which would allow them to compete with their friends & showcase their insider NYT knowledge through verified NYT-awarded badges on social media.
